I used to be an expatriate, who worked for more than 18 years in Libya or specifically Socialist Peoples’ Libyan Arab Jamahiiya I do believe is still a big earning potential for OFW’s to explore for many years to come. While working in the field of fiinance and administration in various oil & gas consultancy. water and agicultural projects in the Jamahiriya, I noticed that the Filipino OFWs have captured a soft spot in the hearts of most Libyans particularly by his highness great leader Muammar Gaddafi. The strong determination and versalitility of most filipino workers in the SPLAJ are well trusted, accepted and respected in the various projects I had worked until my retirement. Amongst the well respected groups of OFWs are the health care workers, safety personnel and catering staffs. This is so because of the filipino OFW’s extreme dedication coupled with their best behaviour in their jobs.

I hope and pray that this nature of these highly valued relationships with the Libyans remain and and continue to be maintained by future Filipinos recruited to work in the Socialist Peoples’ Libyan Arab Jamahitiya for the good of our fellowmen overseas.
