Care Assistant
Job Summary
To provide a high standard of personal care to service users and to enable them to maintain their individual lifestyles within the confines of a group living situation under the supervision of senior staff.
Candidate Profile
• Knowledge of the Social Care Environment
• An understanding of how to assist service users with their personal care and hygiene
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A sound knowledge of the Health & Safety Regulations
• Some understanding of procedures concerning administration of medication
• To have a knowledge of man handling techniques
